Nowadays, looking good in photographs is something we all want to do. Many people know how to pose for a really good photograph, so it's no wonder people want to know how to TAKE that photograph well. What's the best light, all that sort of stuff.

I recently got into modelling and have found that getting photographs taken for a portfolio can be really expensive; charges for the session as much as £50 and then £95 per print that you want! So, I started taking them at home (well my mum took them for me :P) and they came out really well! Anyway, I found this article online that had 5 top tips on how to take a good, professional looking photograph and thought other people might find it useful.

Top 5 tips for taking amazing photographs

1. Use the vertical.
2. Turn off the flash.
3. Get close to the subject.
4. Use the rule of thirds.
